Le laboratoire AMAP (Montpellier) recrute un ingénieur/postdoctorant en contrat à durée déterminée (CDD) d’un an pour contribuer au projet IFIHSA (Inventaire Forestier par Imagerie Hyperspectrale Aéroportée), développé en collaboration avec l’ONF (Office National des Forêts) en Guyane française.

Ce projet vise à développer des méthodes d’inventaire forestier utilisant la télédétection aéroportée, en combinant des données hyperspectrales et LiDAR.

The AMAP laboratory (Montpellier) is recruiting an engineer/postdoctoral researcher on a one-year fixed-term contract (CDD) to contribute to the IFIHSA project (Forest Inventory using Airborne Hyperspectral Imaging), developed in collaboration with the ONF (National Forestry Office) in French Guiana.
This project aims to develop methods for forest inventory using airborne remote sensing, combining hyperspectral and LiDAR data.

This week-long workshop is aimed at graduate students and postdocs who would like to learn about the high-resolution technique for probing exoplanet atmospheres and who want to connect with other researchers working on this topic. The workshop will be structured like the Sagan Summer Workshops, with a mix of pedagogical lectures and hands-on activities. An application is required to attend. Applications submitted by August 31 will receive full consideration. Please see the workshop website for more information.

Le 10ème colloque du Groupe Hyperspectral de la Société Française de Photogrammétrie et Télédétection sera organisé à Grasse du 5 au 7 mai 2025. Nous serons accueillis dans l’espace de conférences de la société ACRI-ST.

Plus d’informations sur l’organisation de ce colloque à venir très prochainement.

Comme chaque année, nous aborderons différentes thématiques liées à l’utilisation des données hyperspectrales, notamment les avancées les plus récentes dans le domaine des capteurs, des méthodes et des algorithmes de traitement des données. Les missions spatiales en préparation et en exploitation y seront également présentées, ainsi que l’apport de l’imagerie hyperspectrale dans des domaines d’application aussi variés que les géosciences, la végétation, les milieux littoraux et urbains, l’atmosphère, la planétologie, la médecine, l’industrie, l’expertise d’œuvres d’art, etc.

The 2nd EnMAP User Workshop 2025 ‘From Hyperspectral Data to Environmental Understanding’ will take place in Munich at Schloss Nymphenburg from 2-4 April, 2025.

With this event we will highlight the outstanding scientific results and applications that have developed since the beginning of the mission and have thus contributed significantly to a better understanding of the processes on the Earth’s surface. We also provide an excellent opportunity for exchange among the broad user community to identify new research and application areas and to widen, optimize and promote the use of EnMAP-Data in the fields of atmospheric science, aquatic and terrestrial ecosystems, agriculture, forestry, geology, soil science and many more.
